An exceptional Mid-Century Mexican sculptural sunburst wall light designed by Felip Delfinger for Feders, handcrafted in copper and coloured art glass, circa 1960.
The striking Aztec sunburst design features individually mounted amber, honey and black fused glass rays surrounding a beautifully sculpted central glass face with a rich pâte de verre-like texture.
The reverse retains its original hand-formed copper basket and expanded metal reflector, demonstrating the skilled craftsmanship associated with high-quality Mexican Modern design of the period.
Recently Pat-Tested to modern safety standards, the lamp uses 1 standard E27 light bulb.
It is in very good vintage condition with some signs commensurate with age.
